“Micro-site” Early Learning Centers
The Micro-Site Project is a collaboration between UPO, Bainum Family Foundation, and DC Public Schools (DCPS). The project brings infant/toddler centers into DCPS elementary schools with the goal of implementing a seamless transition into preschool.

Better for You
We remove the barriers to success so that everyone grows and thrives: You are supported every step of the way, your child gets a quality education tailored to their strengths and needs, and Educators have work-life balance, with coaching on how to become better.

Newer and Smarter
This ideal, cutting-edge approach by the WeVision EarlyEd initiative required transformative thinking based on the science of early learning and child development. Micro-Sites have a mixed stream of funded enrollment, including subsidized, private pay, and scholarships. Note: Siblings of children currently enrolled at the elementary school get priority.

Devoted to Results
Research is “baked into” our work. We will measure child outcomes including social, emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development. And we will take an in-depth look at how to apply the curriculum and the specialized arts-based learning, and the effect of our unique ways of assigning staff.
