Victor Kolako giving a thumbs-up, sitting in front of his open laptop

A Senior’s Peace of Mind

May 26, 2022

Victor Kolako was a DC senior citizen with a low income and a problem to solve. His laptop was old and its glitches kept getting worse. But new laptops were too expensive, and so was the repair cost.

One day he was chatting with a friend who told him about UPO’s Laptop Distribution and urged him to take advantage of it. Mr. Kolako did not believe it at first. Nevertheless, he figured it would not hurt to check out this opportunity.

He made his appointment with UPO, explained his problem, and behold, Mr. Kolako was the owner of a brand-new computer. “This laptop has given me peace of mind, and [I am] finally free to do everything and anything I need to now.”

Then other friends began sharing how UPO has assisted them, and hearing their stories warmed his heart even more.

“Some people do not have the means to get a laptop. And laptops help all of us … NOW! So UPO assisting people is good. And the laptop is expensive, but UPO offering it for free for senior citizens – I really appreciate it.”
